CHANGE OF COMPUTER SYSTEM

The Practice is changing to a new computer system in November 2011.  We hope the change will be as smooth as possible.  However, some disruption is unavoidable, especially in the weeks commencing 21st November and 28th November 2011.

APPOINTMENTS WILL BE AFFECTED

We will be reducing the amount of routine appointments during this period due to difficulties in accessing our patient’s computerised records and the recording of new consultations during the changeover.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS WILL BE AFFECTED

Repeat prescription orders WILL NOT be processed between the 16th November and 28th November 2011.  Patients should ensure that they have ordered and collected adequate medication, which they will need to cover this time.  ORDER EARLY.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

It is once again time for you to make your appointment at the surgery for your flu vaccine.  If you are over 65 or have a chronic disease please call the surgery on 0131 549 7340 to make an appointment.  Clinics start week beginning 26th September and are on a variety of days and times.

We will be offering extra early morning and evening appointments in addition to the  current range of appointments.  There will be additional early morning appointments from 7am on 2 mornings every fortnight and additional evening appointments until 7.45pm on one evening every fortnight.  These will be bookable in advance and available from the last week in June.
